The jewelry and accessories Barry Kieselstein-Cord creates are conceived as three-dimensional works of art that are often whimsical but very much a statement of contemporary design. He draws his inspiration from the animal kingdom as well as from ancient art periods, reinterpreting motifs into his bold, organic style that invites touch. In place of shiny metals, he used a matte finish, producing a somber glow to his work.
