Canvas has a wax lining. Frame abrasion to the extreme edges. Minor surface soiling. Undulation to the canvas. Two horizontal creases to the center of the canvas, including one that runs the width of the canvas. With a vertical line at the center left that runs the length of the canvas. A few scattered areas of pinpoint pigment losses and of craquelure. Examined under ultraviolet light. The canvas presents with a milky green varnish. Short strokes of inpainting evident, particularly to the woman and to the background.
