Lot Essay
This Breitling military watch was made in 1975 for the Italian armed forces. The watch features the military markings on the case back that read, “E.I. 0425.” The flex/expandable bracelet is the original Japanese stainless steel that was issued with watch.

The case is in excellent, sharp condition with light scratches throughout. The engraving to the case back is crisp. The bezel is in good condition with some light scratches to it. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The lume on the dial has aged to a green color while the lume of the hands has aged to a yellow color. This is normal for these watches. The crystal has some light scratches. The bracelet is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
