The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case is in good condition with light scratches and appears to have been lightly polished. The back of the lugs have light scratches. The case back is in good condition with light scratches and some small nicks. The bezel is in good condition with a small nick near 8 o'clock and the bezel insert shows signs of age with light scratches and some lost paint. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The luminous material at the hour markers has aged to a nice yellow color. The luminous material in the hands has darkened with age. The hand in the sub-register at 6 o'clock has some lost paint near its base. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.


The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The number stamped to the inside of the case back is followed by 'SP' indicating "special pushers" with increased water resistance that OMEGA produced.
