Lot Essay

Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Memovox in circa 1950 and in 1956 JLC introduced the caliber 815 which was for the first automatic alarm wristwatch. JLC than developed an automatic alarm movement with date function, the caliber 825. This particular Memovox features the world time dial and 37mm “jumbo” case. This Memovox has a passive world time function where you can set the central alarm disk to your current time zone city and then see the time in other cities around the world.
