Lot Essay
Obviously inspired by Rolex’s wildly successful Submariner model, the present watch is a highly unusual take on the subject. The case and dial designs of possibly Rolex’s most successful and iconic diver’s watch are here reprised in a 33 mm. case. As Rolex never made a diver’s watch cased in a 33 mm. case, this can be considered a highly rare occasion for the shrewd collector to own a lady’s Submariner watch.
