The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear with a light patina and has been polished. The hallmark is visible to the side of the case at 9 o'clock. The end caps for the lugs are missing on the 6 o'clock side. The case back has scratches throughout, the numbers are mostly lost, and the hallmark is slightly rubbed. The dial shows signs of age and is peeling on the upper part from 12 to 1 o'clock and on the bottom part from 6 to 7 o'clock. The dial is stuck to the bezel and the watchmaker has advised not to remove it without risking further damage. The hands have developed patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
