This watch is inspired by the OMEGA Speedmaster CK2998 which was worn by Wally Shirra in 1962 during the Sigma 7 mission. Many characteristics of the CK2998 are recreated with this watch including: the straight lug case, the applied logo at 12 o'clock, and the alpha hands. At 39.7mm, this watch is closer in size to the original CK2998 models and the feel on the wrist is outstanding.
