The case is in very good condition and has only been lightly polished. The numbers between the lugs are crisp. The backs of the lugs show signs of wear from the spring bars. The back of the lugs at 1, 7, and 11 o'clock have crisp hallmarks. The case back is in good condition with light signs of wear. The inside case back is stamped '16800' and has watchmaker's marks. The crown, bezel and insert are in good condition. The insert appears to be a replacement. The dial shows light signs of age and has faded in color, but is original. It is a lighter blue than originally with some paint loss around the coronet and around the outer edges. There are light horizontal lines in the middle of the dial that have gold coming through. The lume in the hour markers and hands is original and in good condition. It has faded to a darker yellow color. The lume is cracked in the 12, 6, and 11 o'clock hour markers. It is also cracked in the seconds hand. The spring bars are steel. The bracelet is original, shows light signs of wear and has been polished. The quick-set date of working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
