The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work rests on the edge of a table or similar surface, allowing the curvilinear bar elements to hang freely. The work is structurally sound. Fine abrasions, tiny nicks, spots of oxidation, stray media, and transfer marks are occasional, some presumably in keeping with the found nature of the medium. A few minute accretions are infrequent. Minute surface losses are scattered to the top of the ovular element, possibly in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
