The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Bowl:
- later metal rim
- light scratching to the interior with discoloration and some small burst glaze bubbles
- several discolored cracks with associated chips extending from the rim toward the base
- multiple glaze gaps to the base
- chip and heavy wear to the foot rim

Flask:
- chips to the glaze around the mouth rim
- cracks to the neck
- gap in glaze at the joint of neck and body
- crackle in the glaze
- areas of discoloration
- chips to edges and foot
