The coat-of-arms is that of the Lord Grade of Elstree. As told in the Lord Lew Grade's memoir Still Dancing: My Story (New York: Harper Collins Publishers, 1988, p. 238), this humidor was purchased at the insistence of Prince Philip during a visit with the prince to a craft fair at the Birmingham Studios.
