The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition and ready to place. With the expected scattered light nicks, marks and faint scratches, consistent with age and use. The mounts with some light rubbing and surface abrasions, as to be expected. With scattered infilled repairs, primarily to the legs. A few losses to beaded decoration. The leg mounts with some sepration at joins, but not readily visible. The leather writing surface later and in good overall condition with minor wear.
