The Japanned decoration with several scattered restorations and associated overpainting throughout. The reverse with a 12 inch square panel removed in order to accomodate entertainment unit cords. With repaired shrinkage cracks to side panelleing, but well disguised. With evidence of old, now inactive wood worm.
