The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The porcelain not examined out of its mounts, the vases are not drilled. The gilt decoration on both vases is very effaced, with trace elements remaining; each with some surface scratches to bodies throughout. One vase with a long hairline extending from the rim to mid-neck (approximately 6 inches long). The other vase with several crescent-shaped breaks at the flaring rim, skillfully restored; apparently with an overspray on the interior of vase.
