Details
The smaller vase is of double gourd form and covered in a Ge-type glaze. The larger is of faceted double gourd form and covered in a pale bluish-green glaze, and is now mounted as a lamp with a hardwood base.

Furniture and Works of Art removed from Villa Bombrini 'Il Paradiso', Genoa, Property of Madame Maria Cristina Piaggio Croce; Christie's London, 11 December 2001, lot 217 (as a group of three vases).
