The sheet is hinged intermittently along the edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges are deckled. Pinholes with associated disturbed fibers are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. A small spot of discoloration is to the lower left quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
