A fine layer of surface soiling is intermittently. Minor cracking is to the upper areas of the artist's frame and several small losses are intermittently, in keeping with the nature of the medium. Tiny accretions are intermittently. Fine cracking with associated lifting is near the nails, a vestige of the artist's working process. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
