This chair is in decorative country house condition overall. There are the inevitable minor scratches, scuffs, abrasions, knocks, chips and losses overall consistent with age and use. The painted surfaces are somewhat distressed. There are a couple of historic repairs to the back frame of the chair. There is some visible cracking to the joins. The seat is sagging. The upholstery has a few stains and is somewhat discolored. There are traces of historic, apparently inactive, woodworm to the rails.
