A wooden strip frame covers the side edges, and the painting has not been examined unframed. Very minor wear is to the corner tips. Only visible under raking light and close inspection, a tiny transluscent accretion is above the letter "b" and another faint accretion is just above the 25 cents. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
