The marquetry presents some minor restorations to the fronts, sides and the top panel, with some later replacements.
There are some shrinkage cracks to the veneer, especially vertical shrinkage cracks to the lateral sides. There are small associated losses along the cracks to the sides. The top presents a few minor liftings in places.
The gilt-bronze mounts are tarnished and rubbed, with traces of white cleaning residue, as well as signs of moisture and oxidation. The gilt-bronze masks to the sides are associated. One brass element on the left side is detached and needs to be refixed properly. In addition, several brass inlaid elements are missing from the front and the right side. The brass inlaids presents a few minor dents as expected.
