The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
These attractive hall chairs are in overall good condition
There are the inevitable marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use
Chair A: minor knicks and scratches, in particular to the base of the legs, with a repaired break to the front right corner of the seat, a further repaired break to the base of the splat
Chair B: also with repaired break to the front right side of the seat and a repaired split to the base of the back of the splat
Chair C: with a repaired break to the front left of the seat
Chair D: with a vertical split to the seat reinforced to the underside and a small repaired break to the top of the back right leg
The painted crests with some fading and losses, traces of historic, apparently inactive woodworm to the underside, otherwise structurally sound and ready to use
