The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With a clean, complete well-maintained appearance, structurally sound and ready to use. With scattered age and construction cracks, some infill to those at the back. The veneers with scattered fraying, lifting, and minor cracks with minor areas of losses and signs of infill and restorations, mainly at the border surrounding the marble top. Overall with general marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. Some minor sun fading, mainly to the proper left side. A few losses to the beads and applied moldings, including to the proper left foot front. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected; a minor break though the ankle of one of the griffins, but not unstable. The marble with light scratches throughout and some chips and 'nibbles', consistent with use and handling.
