The pierced back carved as two birds' heads amid scrolls, flowers and leaves, the shepherd's crook arms with conforming carving, on cabriole legs with shell and leaf knees and slipper feet, the seat covered in associated needlework, the interior of the front rail applied with a Norman Adams trade label
