Lovely, vibrant needlework upholstery. The chairs overall with a clean, complete well-maintained appearance, structurally sound and ready to use. With scattered age and construction cracks. Overall with general marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. Small areas with infill to all four arms at their lower terminals. The feet tipped on chair marked 'A' and its proper right seat rail reinforced, and its corner blocks possibly replaced. The chair marked 'B' with likely later replaced back stretcher, and old well-disguised repaired breaks to its back legs. The proper left back leg with some visible pegs associated with the repair. Each overall with minor old woodwork to inner seat rails, now inactive. The associated upholstery with marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of wear, as to be expected from use.
