The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With the inevitable chips, cracks, and wear consistent with age and use.
The top not fixed to the base.
The marble top with some scattered cracks, chips, and infill repair.
A small area of loss to the outer slip of the top.
Another small area of loss to one of the inlaid leaves above acorns.
Otherwise in good condition, the white border with some minor wear, faint black marks and nibbling consistent with age and use.
The base with some minor losses to the carving.
The gilding with some retouching and flaking, in some places revealing the bole and areas of timber beneath.
Some retouching to the base, for example to the inside of the legs.
As stated in the cataloguing, the base probably adapted from a torchere.
