CASE: In country house condition. The terracotta figures and ground with some scratches and areas of abrasion as expected from age and use. Several repaired breaks and cracks, notably a repaired clean break to the front leg, arm, foot and fingers of the right flanking female figure. Further hairline cracks to the later base, the left corner with significant chip.
DIAL: The enamel dial with a chip to the left hand winding hole. Hairline cracks and small losses to the edge. Hands tarnished, minute hand misshapen. A retaining screw below the centre.
MOVEMENT: The movement overall would benefit from a clean and service. Currently a little dirty and tarnished. Not tested for duration of timekeeping. Lacking both bells. Some arbors rebushed.
Requires two bells; a winding key and a pendulum.
Overall structurally sound and ready to place.
