One with rectangular section tapering white chalcedony handle encased in cagework of scrolls and foliage, the bloodstone matrix carved with C cypher; the other with bloodstone pear-shaped handle, the matrix carved with crest within the Garter motto and below an earl's coronet, in leather fitted case stamped 'Longman & Strongi 'th' Arm Ltd'

The crest is that of Lascelles within the motto of the Order of the Garter, for Henry George Charles Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood (1882-1947) who was made a Knight of the Garter in 1922 and who succeeded his father to the earldom in 1926.
