Shaped realistically, on a square base, the base and sides of the building bright cut engraved with foliate scrolls and mounted with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and opals, the edifice surmounted by a diamond-set dome, approximately 2,964 gemstones in all: 1,085 diamonds, approximately 33 carats; 741 rubies, approximately 92 carats; 573 sapphires, approximately 66 carats; 124 emeralds, approximately 10.64 carats; and 441 opals, mounted on a black velvet pedestal and in a custom plexiglass case, marked under base
