The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
The set displays minor wear, scratches, dents, marks, shrinkage along with cracks, commensurate with age and use. The bookcases have been restored several times. Some losses and chips, many filled along with parts of the veneer replaced and re-varnished. Minor discolorations at places. A few wooden structural elements added to the underside, with some possible transformations to the base overtime, along with some screws replaced.
Each bookcase opens on two shelves, the set features12 shelve brackets, some replaced.
