Overall, this rare figure is in good condition, with only small condition faults listed below: There appears to be some spray to his hat, suggesting that the brown enamel had flaked and was retouched – or possibly that there was some chipping to it - it is not possible to be certain what damage (if any) the spray conceals – and the head has not been restuck. His left fingers and thumb and right little finger have also been sprayed, suggesting that these have been restuck. There is some variation to the purple enamel of his robe – this probably dates from the time of manufacture, but may perhaps be slight wear.
