THE DISHES AND COVERS MARK OF WILLIAM BATEMAN FOR RUNDELL, BRIDGE & RUNDELL, LONDON, 1834, THE WARMING STANDS MARK OF MATTHEW BOULTON, BIRMINGHAM
The arms are those of Fitz-Clarence for George Augustus Frederick (1794-1842), eldest natural son of William IV (1765-1837), Duke of Clarence and Earl of Munster, and his mistress Dorthea Jordan (1761-1816), daughter of Francis Bland (1736-1778), generally known as Mrs. Jordan.
