The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some minor age and construction cracks as expected. The frame with some minor worm damage (now inactive). One example with a hairline crack to stretcher at the proper left front. Later corner blocks. One chair with replaced back rail and also with one replaced side of the stretcher. The gilt gesso with some minor wear including rubbing and loss, revealing gesso beneath in areas (not extensive). The upholstery in good, lightly used condition with a few minor snags. Overall good, stable condition; presents well, ready to place.
