Lovely oyster veneering, sturdy, ready to use. With general wear, overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. The veneers with minor lifting and fraying in places commensurate with age, with old patch repairs in places, as to be expected. Overall stable and sound. Repaired old break to one back foot, which has been re-attached. Handles and locks are well-matched replacements. Overall slightly dark color throughout, visible in catalogue photographs.
