Christie’s New York is proud to announce its 2026 Fall Collections online auction, featuring a variety of European decorative arts from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. The sale will be open for bidding 1-13 October and is led by a collection of eighteenth-century European furniture curated by the famed interior designer Brian J. McCarthy for a southern hôtel particulier. Other notable groups include a rare selection of Gothic and Renaissance furniture, early Delftware from the Peter Van Slyke Collection, a retrospective group of French animalier sculpture from a Distinguished Private Collection spanning various media, including works by Antoine-Louis Barye and Christophe Fratin , as well as outstanding George III furniture.
