The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor nicks, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, the chairs have been redecorated. Some minor flaking and losses to the painted decoration which is in very smart order overall.
The left arm of one fauteuil with a white-paint mark. The top of the back right leg of the other fauteuil with a restored break.
Some minor separation at joins.
Each with later block supports to the underside, to the corners by legs.
There are some minor signs of old inactive woodworm.
The silk upholstery with wear from use, such as to the seat backs which have some areas with loose threads. The seats with liquid stains. The upholstery is nevertheless in smart order.
Structurally stable and ready to use.
