The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The website illustrations are accurate despite being very slightly too bright.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing due to age and use.
Marble: the marble top is slightly rubbed, with some minor scratches. One white scratch is visible in the middle (approx. 9 cm.). With some very minor white stains due to the use.
Gilding : there are some very signs of tarnishing, black spot and verdigris, especially to the lions head and to the feet. There are some traces of oxidation and few casting flaws to the leafy frieze.
Some very minor traces of dust in the hollows.
