The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good condition overall. The green strip of enamel at the bottom of the cresting (approx. 30 x 0.3 cm.), the light blue scrolls at the left and right (approx. 4 x 2 cm.) and the area of light blue in the tail of the right peacock (approx. 1.5 x 0.3 cm.) have been restored. There are some minor gaps measuring up to approx. 0.2 cm. between the mirror and the enamelled border. There are five holes spread out evenly along the lower half of the rim. Otherwise, some scratching and wear to the silver, as consistent with age.
