The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use. The samovar, teapot, hot milk jug, and sugar bowl with replaced composite insulators and finials.
‌The samovar with a few small bruises to the body and some wear to the engraving, the top most cover and pierced spacer very slightly out of round, the left handle bent down slightly at the top, and with some wear to the gilding on the interior.
‌The teapot with the upper handle terminal previously off and now re-attached with a patch visible to the interior and some associated excess solder to the outside.
‌The hot milk jug with some minor wear to the gilding on the interior, the cover slightly out of round and with two dings to the side. The cover may be a later replacement.
‌The sugar bowl with the gilding to the interior largely worn and with some small bruises to the body at the widest points.
‌The creamer and rinsing bowl possibly previously also with gilt interiors.
‌The tray with some heavier scuffs to both the surface and underside.
‌The chest overall with some wear, scratches, tears, and minor losses to the black leather exterior, as well as some areas of cracking, buckling and lifting, particularly to the underside, the brass handles and plaque to the cover all with some minor wear, rubbing, and scratches, lacking a lock plate, the interior with some wear, rubbing, fading, and staining to the blue velvet, as well as some tears to the velvet in the space where the samovar sits, with one key, overall generally good condition.
