Details
The molded triangular pediment carved with dentils and foliage with key-pattern frieze and three tiers of four short drawers mounted with gilt-bronze lion mask handles and divided by fluted pilasters, the lower part with molded edge carved with egg-and-dart ornament above four graduated long drawers, the sides mounted with two pairs of gilt-bronze carrying handles, on a plinth base, the interior of the cornice with partially legible chalk inscription, 'Corridor(?) top of chest... ', and the uppermost proper left drawer stamped 3170 to the interior
