Another tureen by Puiforcat with a similar silhouette to the present lot and jade ring finial was first presented at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris in 1925. An example of that model was sold at Christie's, New York, 8 April 2021, lot 220.
