The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition. With scattered nicks, marks and faint scratches, consistent with age and use. The ormolu mounts with scattered light rubbing and oxidation, and some slight casting perfections. The inset leather writing surface with scattered marks, scratches, water marks and staining, consistent with use. With scattered small dings to extreme edges of legs.
