The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Presents very well; some light surface wear, a few small flakes to the enamels at the high points, some typical crazing. The cistern in generally good order; a section of the grapevine scroll missing above one ram's horn (approx. 4 in.); the end of one putto's leafy scroll tail with a clean break that has been stabilized; a few small scattered chips, including to the rim, a couple grapeleaves and to the horns. The liner with a restored crack to the bowl to one side of the central medallion, the associated overpaint now discolored and flaking, the rim with two areas of rim restoration, the rim also with a small chip in the manufacture (glazed over).
