The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good condtion given age and fragility. With typical scattered small 'nibbles' to edges, scattered small chips and nicks, and some light cracking. With scattered area of foxing and losses to silvering, including to the main mirror plate, and to the cresting. The cresting with a large vertical crack to the central round plate, currently stable but may benefit from further re-securing before hanging. The cresting also with some losses to silvering revealing barewood including to the fronds of the fan, the central C-scrolls and bottom of the round plate. The rectangular plate with some cracking along the outer borders, and with some scattered light scratches. With some small areas of losses to silvering and foxing to central plate and plates along exterior. With some small applied decorative plates lacking, some off and retained. Presents well overall and of impressive size.
