Each painted en grisaille after Nicolaes Berchem with peasant farmers moving their livestock along a road, one with a ferrier shoeing a donkey, the reverse with either a figure in landscape or a ruin in landscape, flanked by gilt upright bifurcated loop handles with berried terminals, on faux marble bases
