The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition and ready to place. The stone with natural inclusions, light scattered surface scratches and some very small nicks and 'nibbles'. The urn basin with several repaired cracks, including a Y shaped crack to one side with associated infill; a crack beginning in the center of the opposite side stretching through the lobed body to the handle; another crack under that same handle with associated infill. The socle with a repaired crack from the center on one side. The lower base with some repaired crack with associated infill along the base, some with subsequent losses including to one corner on a long side. The ormolu with typical scattered rubbing, tarnish and some pitting. One side with significant verdigris and oxidation. With later removable liner.
