The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. A small loss to the sheet in the extreme lower right quadrant, not visible when framed. Some surface soiling and a few scattered fine lines of abrasion. A circular dark stain in the upper right quadrant. Some unevenness in the central left area due to the adhesive residue to the reverse. Examined under ultraviolet light. Overall with some scattered short strokes of inpainting and touch-ups, mainly to the white pigment. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
