The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Provisional condition report :
Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
Gilding : very slightly rubbed to the base with signs of tarnishing, especially to the back of the fabric. The glass door of the back is missing.
Please note that this condition report has been written from a work of art and not a time-measuring object point of view. Therefore this lot has to be checked by a professional clock-maker.
