There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbings consistent with age and use. The ormolu presents very well, with only very minimal signs of tarnish. Some minor elements have been replaced and are later: two small feet, the putto attribute and the plate at the reverse. A decorative element is missing from the front of the piece, in the lower part.
