The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Provisional condition report :
Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
Glass door of the back is missing.
Gilding : with traces of verdigris especially to the legs of Apollon and to the finials of the fabric.
Slightly rubbed, especially to the top of the case.
Patinated bronze : with marks and stains to the back of the base. There is restorations under the right arm of Apollon.
The front glass panel has been replaced and the frame has been probably changed.
Please note that this condition report has been written from a work of art and not a time measuring object point of view. Therefore, this lot has to be checked by a professional clockmaker.
